COLORADO PED PATROL CASE UPDATE : LIVE CATCH ON 5/31/23 MICHAEL BRODERICK COLORADO SPRINGS CASE #2023-00020954 "The officer documented that he reached out to the Colorado Ped Patrol to obtain screenshots of the chat, but there has been no response. I emailed the officer to confirm there has been no response from the Colorado Ped Patrol. At the time of this review, I do not have the following information: 1. The chats or screenshots used to communicate with the supposed suspect. 2. A venue of where this occurred - I only have the last known address of the supposed suspect. 3. Any recordings of the Colorado Ped Patrol’s interaction with the supposed suspect they interviewed. At this time, I am not assigning this investigation to a detective for any further follow-up. ...The Colorado ICAC Task Force to include CSPD ICAC has had numerous interactions with the Colorado Ped Patrol. They have been asked to no longer conduct investigative activities due to safety reasons when they go confront suspects. They have also been previously asked multiple times to provide full details of the chats and interviews if they proceed with their activities And they want CSPD to review their case.
